This command opens the "Playback Options" dialog.
Ever wondered how the effects in the Effects palette work? Actually, they are just Photoshop actions.
- In the Effects palette, double-click the "Playback Options" thumbnail.
- In the "Playback Options" dialog, pause action playback for 2-5 seconds at every step (screenshot).
- Display the "Layers" and "Undo History" palettes.
- In the Effects palette, apply an effect and scrutinize the editing progress step by step.
- Open the "Playback Options" again and select "Accelerated" mode to return to normal playback.
Attention! By clicking "Cancel" in the "Playback Options" dialog (or by pressing [Esc] key), you apply the "Paused for 2 seconds" setting. To refuse pausing, select the "Accelerated" mode and click "OK".
