Along with many other hidden features Photoshop Elements includes spell-check dictionaries for various languages*.
To launch the spell checker:
- Select a text layer.
- Open the "Text" dialog.
- Make sure that option selected in the "Language", menu matches the language of your text.
- Apply the "Spell Check"
command. - In the dialog box that opens, (fig. 1) accomplish the the spell check procedure and click "Done".
*Attention! Since not all Adobe Photoshop Elements distributives include the required dictionaries, the author can't guarantee that this feature will work on your computer.
In case the spell checker overlooks obvious misprints and displays "Spell check complete" message (fig. 2), please, disable the dictionary-dependent functions as it is shown here.
